The sons of men are members in a body
wholly related; for a single essence are they each
and all created. When fortune resonates
with pain, one member, sorely, the other
members of the body cannot stand securely.
O you who from another's troubles turn aside your view,
it is not fitting they bestow the name of "man" on you.

What is the "Universal Love Foundation"?

Universal: Relating to, extending to, and affecting the entire world and all those within the world. Applicable or common to all purposes, conditions, or situations.
Love: A deep, tender, ineffable feeling of affection and caring solicitude for others.
Foundation: The establishment of an institution with provisions for future maintenance. The basis on which a thing stands, is founded, or is supported.

The Universal Love Foundation (ULF) was founded in May 2000, by Ms. Manzar Amini, who looked around and quickly became aware of the great number of hard-working, disadvantaged single parents, truly in need of some temporary assistance, just to get by, and support their families. Rather than simply lamenting the situation, or merely feeling bad about their plight, she realized that "We All" could easily come together, each giving a little bit, to do something about it right now.

The Mission

To enable single parents to access and utilize available care services, in order to become self-sufficient and lead productive lives.

This assistance includes, but is not limited to, medical treatment, social services, counseling, job training, encouragement, and a basic sense of hope, for those single-parent families that are truly in need.

The Purpose

To ensure that these struggling, courageous and loving parents, who simply refuse to abandon hope for their children, get the necessary help to make sure they have the chance to eventually make it on their own.

To provide access to family care services, which many single parents might not usually qualify for, or be aware of, under the limitations of today's social services environment. This is not simply a "giveaway" program. It is a logical and caring process to reach those in need; to help them become independent, productive and contributing members of our society.

The Philosophy

To help single parents, regardless of race, creed, religion or political affiliation, by providing referral services to improve their lives, on a case-by-case basis.

The ULF works on the premise that through an organized effort and with a strong support system, our members can build a better future for themselves and their children. Our organization will assist these parents in creating a healthy and optimal family environment.

We are here to help those in legitimate need to learn, comprehend and eventually master the art of self sufficiency. Through the process of working hard and consistently applying their talents, gifts and strengths, the ULF helps them to become rock solid members of our community.

The Universal Love Foundation helps struggling single parents to provide for themselves and their families. Thus, we begin to witness the development of a long, unbreakable chain of self-reliance and strength, "One family at a time." It's simple. All we need to do is care enough to lend a helping hand.
